How many karts do you race in a day?
On average, we race 110-130 karts in a single race day spanning over 10 classes.
Do you use an app for race info?
Yes! We use My Race Pass. You can find more info and ways to download here.
What is your schedule for the season?
Please click here for our 2024 race season schedule.
Do you have pit stalls available?
We have plenty of free pit stalls available.
What is your track like?
Our track is a 1/8 of a mile packed clay oval. We maintain it during the week by watering and brushing it. The morning of a race, the track is groomed and wheel packed. During the race, we will periodically water and/or brush the track depending on weather and track conditions, at the discretion of the race director.
What ages can race at TKKC?
Ages for each class are listed in our rules. Please click here for a break down of each class and their requirements.
What type of safety equipment do I need to race?
The requirements for each class are a little different. Please click here for a break down of each class and their requirements.
How much does it cost to race?
Prices are based on the class you race. Race entry fee is separate from pit pass fee.
How much is a membership and what does it get me?
A membership is $100 for an individual kart, $150 for two karts and families of 3 karts will be $200.00. As members, you receive a discounted raceentry fee of $10 less than a non-member.
One of the most important benefits of membership is racing for a championship. By being a member, you are entitled to race for points and championship prizes. If you are not a member, you do not qualify for the championship, points or prizes. Memberships must be purchased by the second race of the season.
Do I have to pay to enter the pit area?
Yes. For 2024 it is a $25 fee for adults and $10 for Senior. Veterans and children under 5 are free. Everyone who enters the pit area is required to have a pit pass due to insurance restrictions. All drivers and karts must be located in the pit area.
*** If you are found in the pit area without a pit pass, you will be asked to leave immediately and the driver you are with may be disqualified.
Is there food for sale on a race day?
Yes! We work a select few food vendors to attend during race day. At this time we offer tacos from Tacos Adeline, pizza from the Central California Pizza Trolley and snow cones from Snowie Snowcones.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor at Tulare Kings Karts Club please email us at tckartclub@gmail.com.
Is there electricity available?
There is not electricity available, however the Kings Fairgrounds does offer full hookup camping at request. For costs and more details contact the Kings Fair at (559) 584-3318.
The full hookup spots are not located directly on the TKKC grounds, but close enough that you can access them after the races.
